Meet Shone – she is a bright young girl whose life took an unexpected turn when her father, a casual worker at a local guest house, lost his job. In search of better opportunities, he left to find work but never returned, leaving the family without financial support.

Shone’s mother, who had been a housewife, found herself in a challenging situation.

Fortunately, Shone’s maternal grandparents, who own a small tea farm, stepped in to help. With much difficulty, they have been covering her school fees, and Shone now lives with them.

Despite these efforts, the family’s resources are limited, and Shone’s future education remains uncertain.
