Meet Elizabeth. Her father is in prison, accused of theft. Her mother remarried and does not see her. Yet, Elizabeth’s spirit is unbroken and is serious about getting an education.

Elizabeth is in P2 class at the Bwindi Watoto School.

Her father once traveled to the Middle East to earn money. He returned to start a scrap metal business.

A series of unfortunate events unfolded when some of his suppliers were involved in theft.  He was implicated and insists he is innocent.

He has been in prison for three years, leaving Elizabeth without his support. With her father unable to provide, Elizabeth now lives with her maternal grandparents.

Her mother, having remarried, does not see Elizabeth, as her new husband has rejected Elizabeth.

Despite all this, Elizabeth’s spirit remains unbroken, and she dreams of a brighter future.

Elizabeth, has faced significant obstacles yet show remarkable resilience – taking her studies seriously and having many friends.  Sponsorship can provide Elizabeth with the educational opportunities she needs to thrive, offering stability and hope.
